Heideman, Director of Publications at the American Meteorological Society, will be here to talk about optimizing papers for publication and the AMS publications process from peer review through production and publication.  The session will not be limited to the AMS process, however, so please come to hear the Society's perspective on the future of the scientific publishing industry, open access and other emerging topics in the field.
