General Overview sessions
  • The information cycle handout describes how to use the literature search and management tools available to NOAA users in the context of the search process.
  • Search Help table summarizes the syntax that is used in the major databases. Refer to respective online help for more specifics of each database.
  • Current awareness signup forms can be printed and faxed/mailed to the library to start email alerting on keyword search topics or journal tables of contents.
  • NOAA employees who also have a UW affiliation may also access UW electronic resources off campus. The Library Cashier can determine your eligibility and process your borrower's card. Then, you will need to configure your system for proxy access.
