NOAA has an ongoing license with Thomson Researchsoft for EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager. The license allows NOAA researchers to install all three software products and any updates on their desktop at no additional charge as well as obtain technical support and training classes.

In addition to the technical support and product information available online, the library has user manuals for EndNote, ProCite, and Reference Manager.
EndNote technical support also includes a user's group email list and tip sheets.

To receive online training from a Thomson Researchsoft trainer go to https://isinet.webex.com/thomsonscientific .
Click 'Browse Meetings' and look for the classes covering the software in which you are interested that also have 'Open Enrollment' in the title.
Register ahead of time in order to get a meeting password. You will have to use IE to attend the session as well as download a plugin called Meeting Manager, from the 'Setup' on the left side of the screen, beforehand. You may also contact the training staff at rstrain@isiresearchsoft.com to receive an updated list of dates for regularly scheduled WebEx training sessions on the program of your choice.

There are unique connection files required for NOAA access to CSA databases as well as the NOAA Libraries Catalog. These files are linked below.
Menu click (right-click, Ctrl or Apple + click) and choose "Save link as..." for the each file and save them in your C:\Program Files\EndNote\Connections folder.
